    Case Study on the Role and Effectiveness of Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agma Islam Kedah (JHEAIK) to Promote Da'wah Activities Among Muslims

    The Kedah's Department of Islamic Religion Affairs is a department which is responsible in managing the matters concerning the religious affairs that is founded by the laws of Kedah's Islamic administration 1962 (No. 911962). Therefore, the Islamic da'wah has become the main agenda which is discussed in the attempt to view its effectiveness through the da'wahs activities that is being held. This da'wah approach is one of the ways to revive the consciousness and realization towards the Islamic guidance and making it as the way of life. The important aspects in the commission of da'wah are the preacher (da'i), the target of the dacwah, the contents of the da'wah and its approach. These aspects are very important and are connected to each other. This research is done using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SSPS) and descriptive data analysis. The sample of this research consists of 150 respondents. This research is also using the survey, interview and library research methodologies. The result of this research has shown that the overall activities that being held receive positive response from the public. The JHEAIK reputation has become better every year. It has been the responsibility of all parties to make sure that the da'wah program work on smoothly. Without the cooperation from the other party, thus success and the effectiveness of this program will be hard to achieve. Therefore, the success of the da'wah depends on the command towards these aspects which is the understanding of the religion, Qudwah Hasanah (role model), and others. The writer can conclude here that even though JHEAIK are involved in the Islamic da'wah S activities, the efforts need to be improved in order to confront the needs and the challenges of this era.

    Da'wah to Aborigines at Lubuk Legong, Siong Baling Kedah

    Da'wah activities must proceed as planned. This research is based on the study of dacwah activities carried out at an Orang Asli Kensiu communities in Lubuk Legong, Siong, Baling, Kedah. The researcher spent a time of 4 months, with them, for purpose of observing and collection of data and information about the maid activities. The study are focus on their acceptance of Islam and the activities of da'wah that were specially programmed for them by the Islamic Development of Organization of Malaysia (JAKlA4). To fully achieve the objectives of this research, the researcher used two different method, namely literature review and field study. Several study technique have been applied, namely non-participation, observation, interview and documentary analysis. The researcher comes up with them. Conclusion, that this Kensiu aborigines group have already fully embraced the religion of Islam and being guided in the religion practices by the offices of JAKIM. But, there is still room for improvements to make the da'wah activities and approaches more effective and efficient.

    The Effectiveness of Mosques In Propagating Islam : A Case Study At Zahir Mosque, Kedah

    The title of this study is " The effectiveness of mosques in propagating Islam: A case study at Zahir Mosque, Kedah". The dealing this topic in five chapters and the first chapter is dealing on an overview about research background. The second chapter mention about an overview of meaning, history and function of mosques as a central for the community. Beside that. the third chapter discuss about Zahir Mosque as a Da'wah central of Kedah. The next chapter is elaborate about analysis and discussion of finding / result and the final chapter is conclusion from this study. To complete this study there are some methods used for this study such as interview the relevant person in this field. Based on research implemented. researcher concludes that, propagating Islam is the main role of the mosque and the duties is still and continuously occur till now by the mosque.

    Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Negeri Kedah (JHEAIK): Da'wah Contributions Today for Kedah Society

    This research discuss about da'wah activities that was conduct by Kedah Islamic Religious Department or Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Negeri Kedah (JHEAIK) on Kedah society today. Main aim of the research is to investigate deeply about da'wah contributions that were implement by JHEAIK for Muslim and non- Muslim society in Kedah. To get information, this research methodology was stress with interviews, observation and library research. It is because the method is appropriate with this research that need accurate and new information. Findings of the research have found many da'wah contributions that were implement by JHEAIK for Kedah society today. For example, JHEAIK had make relationship visit to native people village, at Baling and also was conduct da'wah activities at Mu'allaf Teaching Center or Pusat Bimbingan Saudara Baru (PUSBA), at Sungai Petani. The contribution includes moneys, foods, clothes, Islamic religious teachings, books about Islam and others contribution.

    The Role of Da'wah In Kuala Nerang And Its Implications

    This academic research discusses the role of da'wah which played by the authorities around Kuala Nerang and its implications to the societies. There are many institutions and individuals involved in spreading Islamic belief (da 'wah) in this town. This is because the members of societies are not pay a serious attention towards Islamic values in their heart. The scope of this research focused on Kuala Nerang town only and it's considered as one of field research type. The methodology in this research is applied by using the method of interviewing, documentation and observation. The result of the research shows that the government institutions and private sectors are definitely playing the important roles in spreading the teaching of Islam among the societies. Many methods, ways and strategies were taken by the authorities in order to enhancing Islamic teaching and its values into societies. Finally the research gives this society an opportunity to understand Islamic teachings and practice it properly in their life.

    The Role of Mosque in Islamic Da'wah: a Case Study at Al Bukhary Mosque Alor Malai, Jalan Langgar, Alor Setar, Kedah Darul Aman

    This research was study on Al-Bukhary mosque located in Alor Setar Kedah with focusing on discussion about the role of Al-Bukhary mosque in its effort to bear a good person as a servant to Allah S.W.T. This research also study on the acceptance of society to Al-Bukhary mosque and the activities that was held at there whether it give the effective impact or not. To collect the information, various methods were used by writer such as observation, questionnaires, interview and refer to the sources that are suitable with the research. The result was shown that Al-Bukhary mosque was playing its role in spread of Islamic da'wah and the activity was given a positive effect to society. From the study also shown that society was, accept the mosque as an Islamic development center, generally in Kedah Darul Aman.
