ItemThe Role of Psychology in Da'wah(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Junaidah Bt MohamedThis academic project was discussed about the role of psychology in Da'wah. This academic project is mean to know how far is the role of psychology in spreading Da'wah, this is because the societies today accepts easily the Islamic teaching persuasively rather than spreading it by force. Therefore, psychology is needed in spreading Da'wah. The methodology, which is used in this research, is library research. After all, the researcher realized that psychology is necessary in order to disseminate Da'wah. The Du'ats are also encouraged to use these approaches as ways to spread Da'wah. Hopefully, all of these approaches will benefit Du'at and helping them spreading Islamic Da'wah effectively.

ItemTudung: Fashion or Religion Requirement(Kolej Universiti Islam Malaysia, 2004) Noraini Bt OthmanThe Academic Project Paper discusses about the tudung (cover head), fashion or religious requirement. The writer divides the research into five chapters. In the first chapter, the writer explains the proposal and the definition of tudung in Islamic perspective in the second chapter. In the third chapter, the writer discusses the problem of wearing tudung as Muslimah cloth, and in the fourth chapter, it discussed about the problem of wearing tudung at this moment. The writer uses library research methodology and set more addition information relates to the topic from other resources. Besides, the writer also uses observation methodology and refers to al- Qur'an and hadith. The writer makes conclusion and suggestions. The findings indicate that wearing tudung is a religious requirement and set but interpretation from other people in syara' perspective. Indeed, wearing tudung isn't a fashion or trend as occurs at this time.

ItemIslamic Working Ethics: a Case Study about Implementation at Lembaga Tabung Haji Kota Bharu(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Halimah Binti JusohIn effort to achieve vision 2020, Malaysia wants to ensure citizens to be highly moralizing and self-esteem to lead the country towards development. So the government plays the main role to create ethical citizen from the aspect of administration and environment. Through a field study author is attempting to review the ethics implementation at Lembaga Tabung Haji (LTH) Kota Bharu. Authors also conducted library research; references were taken from pre-eminent authors. The main objective of the research is to view how the Islamic work ethics were implemented in the organization. It is authors hope to see this research could be a valuable guidelines to society. Author also hopes society could view the best ethical system is within Islam.

ItemThe Role of Tourism in Islamic Da'wah(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Mariam Bt YaakobTourism is an activity concerning about musafir, rihlah, siahah, hijrah, ziarah and riadah which include dealing in business, finding knowledge, preaching, enjoying the nature of environment, getting the information, health and recreation. In Malaysia, Tourism has become important for the economy the country and it is one of industries that contribute foreign exchange for Malaysia. The research done is based on field study to see the role of tourism in Islamic dakwah. This research is focuses on tourism agencies involved in tourism. The purpose of this study is to know the efforts in tourism sector in carrying out the preaching activity and to what extent in the tourism sector. To get the data, the method of questionnaires is used and the questionnaires are distributed to 40 respondents, mostly the staff of tourism agencies. The result shows there is an activity of dakwah that have performed by tourism agencies. The researcher also found that there is no effort that done by tourism sector to contribute in the dakwah activity.

In order to complete this research the data gathering method have been used where involved the library research and finding of data about this research. As a result, the Islamic counseling not a new thing but it's was existed since companion's period. And finally, the research that the Islamic counseling approaches was written in Al-Quran and As-Sunnah. It's given the guidance and advice to become the right morals.

The research includes literal (lughah) and technical (istilah) meaning of 'zikr', way of practicing and its benefits. Some techniques had bee used in the data collection process, such as reading and analyzing the references that are related to the subject. This research shows how importance zikr is in Islamic practices as it connected man with its Creator. On the other hand, it is a combination of Aqidah (belief) and Ibadah. Thus, one should have a firm foundation of Ibadah in order to avoid him from being deviated.

ItemThe Role of Islamic Entertainment in Da'wah(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Faiezah AbbasThis academic writing touches on the Role of Islamic entertainment in Da'wah. In this research, the writer discussed mainly on the important subject of it. It is divided to 5 chapters ; talked on the introduction of topic as a whole, second chapter pictured about the concept of Islamic entertainment. On the third chapter described the concept of da'wah. In the forth chapter displays about the cardinal topic that is the role of Islamic entertainment in da'wah and finally the last chapter is on the conclusion and the writer's evaluation on the research. Briefly, the objective of da'wah is to advocate the Din , to spread it out to human being and to prosper the sanctity of Islam. Thus, da'wah organization should actually emerge in today's current issue and not merely as a marginalized group. Therefore, this research portrayed the ability of Islamic entertainment, which is assumed as a new alternative to compete with the non-Islamic entertainment. In this case, the mass media and also the electronic media are highly required to assist the expand of the message of Islam. Hopefully, with this method, Aqidah and human value will always be protected.

ItemEffectiveness of Da'wah Programmes: A Case Study of Da'wah Programmes on TV3(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Mohamad Isa Bin AmatMass media is perceived as a most influential medium to convey da'wah message to the people. Media's attraction especially television has the superior power to develop and establishing mind setting, culture, and value system of community. Apparently, we don't want our generation involved with violence, wrongdoing which is totally against our religion. We want our next generation is developing as to potential leaders in the future, which enriched by positive attitude and good manner. Therefore, this study is essential to recognize the audience's perception towards da'wah programmes. At the same time it aims to identify on how much television gives the positive impact to better society. In our efforts to get the higher recognition in society, educating the youth generation is necessary for long-term benefits because the youth is our priceless assets of country. Regarding this awareness, the field research about da'wah programmes in electronic media had been constricted. This research had been done in district of Ampang Jaya which 89 respondents were interviewed to clear views concerning public's perception and the effectiveness level of da'wah programmes. Hopefully, this study would be able to expose and address resolution and sharing the ideas in order to increasing the community's understanding and awareness towards da'wah programmes.

The writers choose the area as there is Orang Asli Muslim staying there. The writer focused on the method used to attract them to Islam as there are certain groups that also want to attract them such the Christian Missionaries. The methodology used in research are the fields research like the interview, observation, and information gathering via internet and library research where the references come from books, magazines, and journals. Though this research the writer conclude that some of them are still believe in animism and there are challenges from other religious movement like Christianity. The writer hope that this research will provide good knowledge to our community about the Orang Asli who still need the guidance in religious belief.

ItemThe Role of Mosque in Islamic Da'wah: a Case Study at Al Bukhary Mosque Alor Malai, Jalan Langgar, Alor Setar, Kedah Darul Aman(Kolej Universiti Islam Malaysia, 2004) Noor Azah Bt Abdul AzizThis research was study on Al-Bukhary mosque located in Alor Setar Kedah with focusing on discussion about the role of Al-Bukhary mosque in its effort to bear a good person as a servant to Allah S.W.T. This research also study on the acceptance of society to Al-Bukhary mosque and the activities that was held at there whether it give the effective impact or not. To collect the information, various methods were used by writer such as observation, questionnaires, interview and refer to the sources that are suitable with the research. The result was shown that Al-Bukhary mosque was playing its role in spread of Islamic da'wah and the activity was given a positive effect to society. From the study also shown that society was, accept the mosque as an Islamic development center, generally in Kedah Darul Aman.

ItemDa'wah Aspect in Hamka's Literature(Kolej Universiti Islam Malaysia, 2004) Mohd Baliqinee Bin MusaThis particularly study is research effort to Hamka da'wah aspect in his literature. This type of study is using three Hamka's novel which was affected the reader as basic references. There is, "Dari Lembah Cita-Cita" (From the Valley of Ambition), "Di Bawah Lindungan Ka'bah" (Under the Shadow of Ka'bah), and "Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijk" (Sank of Van Der Wijk Ship). To gain a data and information related to this study, the writer was applying a several research methodology that is reading three stated novel, observation on relevant document and data encoding. The research scope is covered to da'wah aspect in Hamka's writing and his literature. As a result, it shown that Hamka was implemented da'wah elements in his literature in order to get closing with his audience.

This research is focusing to the Da'I in Jabatan hal Ehwal Orang Asli (JHEOA)., In order to get full information and the real situation about the activities of the Da'wah, several types of research have been done such as, library, interviews and survey. It was found that giving help is the most popular method used by the Da'I in this department. The characteristic of the Da'I and media also were discussed in this research. The characteristics that should be in the Da'I are knowledgeable in religious and secular. This research also has proved that television is the most attractive and popular media in this decade in conveying the message of Islam. Therefore, every Da'I should provide himself with full preparation with knowledge and others. It is important to maximize the spreading of da'wah in this earth. It is also a necessity in the process of Da'wah to the group of multi ethnics of faith and belief in the situation of the society in Malaysia.

Euthanasia was a previous problem and nowadays it's being a problem that need to the result and must be gazette as a new fatwa. Short term research cannot come out with it's conclusion and it's result. In gathering data, research was mad to the opinions of international scholars and compares it with the Malaysia scholars. Interview, questionnaire and reviewing the relevant document were another tool was used. The finding indicates that the result of euthanasia problem was decided in Qahirah, Holland, AS, London and others. In Malaysia, they didn't decide anything and do not gazette it as a fatwa yet. The questions are either the patients must be given a chance or not. If they have it, how long they need to detain. The good and bad implications also been discussed. Finally, the research stated or found that the opinions of Dr. Yusof Al-Qardawi are flexible and can be applied accepted.

This research title "The Propagation of Da'wah in Multimedia Era" is a research topic to search about the applied of multimedia technology in Da'wah propagation in this globalization era nowadays. This research project is discussed about six chapters that are interconnected with the topic. The objective of this research is to comprehend and searching about multimedia as a Method(wasi1ah)in Da'wah propagation. Primary data (questionnaire) and Secondary data (books, journal and newspaper) are the tools employed for data gathering purposes. First chapter are discussed about research background, objective, problem statement, scope, Da'wah definition and Multimedia definition. Second chapter are discussed about literature review detailed and in third chapter, the discussion is about research methodology. In fourth chapter, it discusses about the Findings. While, for fifth chapter is analysis data and it discussion detailed and lastly, in sixth chapter, its discussion is about the conclusion and recommendation about this topic research.

Certainly, Al-Qur'an was revealed on them as the guider and fulfilled all human need. Allah is the creator who has revealed Al-Qur'an and he is all- known of creation. The research is made to explore human rights in Al-Qur'an subsequently propose it as master reference in providing human right applicable to all levels started from individual, society then country.

It has become the center of information and reference entity, which is considered to be the best in the country. The main direction of the library is to become the center of excellent for reference and the point where we can find information on the country's overall aspects. The National Library has two important roles that is as a National Library that provides information in variety kinds of sources, and secondly as a Public Library that provides services in borrowing materials to its members. Since it is said to be the most important place for the society's mind development in order to build a knowledgeable and reading culture, the writer writes and discusses on the history behind the library's existence, its objective, function, services, and facilities that is available there. From the research, the writer found that the National Library could be recognized as the country's leading civilization center. It symbolizes intellectual culture from the advanced technology of today's world. It has also become the point of growing development of the nation and for the society's mind in order to face future challenges.

The purpose of the research is to explain about the role of fardhu kifayah in detail to the society so that they are aware of the opportunities in the field of muamalah. At the same time, their involvement in the field of science and technology can also improve the Islamic country's development. In this academic project, the researcher focuses on library research. The method used is data collection. To collect comprehensive data the researcher examined several related research reports, books, magazines and pamphlets. The research finding indicated that the implementation of fardhu kifayah is very important so on to develop a country that is controlled by the Muslim society. Besides that, the research it was found that the Islamic civilization has a great impact on the history of human life because of the significant contribution by the previous Islamic scholars to the field of fardhu kifayah.

ItemProblems faced by Chinese Muslim converts(Kolej Universiti Islam Malaysia, 2004) Nurol Shuhada Bt MukhtarThis academic project aims to discuss on the problems faced by Chinese Muslims converts in PERKIM Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur. To obtain relevant data for this study, questionnaires were distributed to 30 Chinese Muslim converts under the care of PERKIM. The data gathering is analyzed by using descriptive method. The findings indicate that the main problems faced by Chinese Muslim converts in PERKIM are acceptance of the families and society towards the converts.

Therefore, a survey on marketing concept were conducted by Takaful Malaysia Guar Chempedak branch in order to promote the product their has to offer, which in this case is Family Takaful and General Takaful. The main purposed of the survey is to measure the awareness of the Guar Chempedak resident on the important of insurance policies in order to protect themselves, family, and their property from risk and disaster. It also a marketing strategy used by the company to promote their product. In order to gather the data needed for the survey, several methods have been used. Among the method are non-participant observation, interview, and questionnaire and by studying the related document. The survey showed that marketing activities should be diversity so it could reach target groups.

ItemDa'wah Methodology: Counseling Techniques as a Tool of Da'wah(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Mohd Rizuan IshakThe study of da'wah and its methodologies has been conducted a lot, the reason is to study the most efficient methods in performing da'wah. This study focusing on counseling as one of the methods. It will be viewed from technical aspects in counseling, so the appropriate technique that suits da'wah interest can be applied. The techniques used in counseling has it own privilege. There the techniques should be explored. In order to collect information, I've conducted library research and interviews with the practitioners. The result show the similarly methods between da'wah and counseling. This statement is also been supported by the experts in both fields particularly from YADIM and PERKAMA. Thus, this study has found a new method to perform da'wah by using counseling techniques that have been adopted with da'wah.
