    Da'wah Aspect in Hamka's Literature

    This particularly study is research effort to Hamka da'wah aspect in his literature. This type of study is using three Hamka's novel which was affected the reader as basic references. There is, "Dari Lembah Cita-Cita" (From the Valley of Ambition), "Di Bawah Lindungan Ka'bah" (Under the Shadow of Ka'bah), and "Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijk" (Sank of Van Der Wijk Ship). To gain a data and information related to this study, the writer was applying a several research methodology that is reading three stated novel, observation on relevant document and data encoding. The research scope is covered to da'wah aspect in Hamka's writing and his literature. As a result, it shown that Hamka was implemented da'wah elements in his literature in order to get closing with his audience.

    Women's Perception Towards Polygamy

    This academic project discussed about polygamy from woman's perspective. To get the data and information for this research, some method had used such as library research, interview and questionnaire. The scope of this study is at Machang Town, Kelantan and 50 woman had chose for interviewing and they are also given the questionnaires form to help the researcher do this research. The respondents include students, businesswomen, housewives, public and private staffs. The primary objective of this research is to know the problems of women on why they accept or reject polygamy, the particular marriage practice allowable in Islam. Secondly, this research aims to look into the effects in a polygamous marriage. Finally, the research provides practical suggestions and recommendations an avoiding in a polygamous marriage. From this research, the researcher gets that some of women did not agree with polygamy, where the main cause that they cannot accept it because the man cannot be fair after the marriage and they think that this polygamy will come many problem to make family society. Therefore, it is become the responsibility to all Muslim society and also to government to overcome this problem, by implement this polygamy marriage in the right way and follow to Syariah Islamiah and also to change women perspective to polygamy marriage.

    Women's Contribution Towards Islamic Da'wah at Kuala Lumpur

    This Academic Project discussed about the women's Towards Da'wah in Kuala Lumpur. The purpose of this research is to know about women's contribution in the Islamic da'wah. Among the activities are, religious talks, seminars, television forum, Islamic counseling and running the fardhu Ain classes for the family, local economic, society and religion. Islamic parenting courses are also given priority in the da'wah activities. This proves that Islamic women movements are not sidelined in the overall Islamic da'wah movements. To collect and gather the relevant data and information, the researcher uses the methodologies of literature review, interviews, field study and website search of the women da'wah group in Kuala Lumpur. The outcomes research of the research show that women are involved in the Islamic Da'wah movement and the role of women to fulfill the deeded in together effort to increase the Kalimah Allah.

    Sekolah Agama Rakyat: a Case Study at Pendang Kedah

    This study discussed about Sekolah Agama Rakyat (SAR) a case study at Pendang Kedah.SAR is the oldest learning institution in this country. It's existence that came to light after the Sekolah Pondok era is to teach religious knowledge in a more organized manner. This system concentrated to religious knowledge besides general knowledge. It's the causes that these parent choose religious school, as they want their children to obtain knowledge that covers the worldly affairs as well as the hereafter. Here the writer evaluated why these parents sending their children to SAR and analyzed whether the education system of SAR is applicable to the modern education system that is seen in government school. Beside that, the writer also examined the effect of SAR education in job market. To complete this study; the writer used observation method, interview, questionnaire, documentation and library research. The result from this study showed that the causes of the parents sending their children to SAR are to get a balance education in religious knowledge and general knowledge. The community is aware of their huge obligation in educating their children in this modem era to ensure that their children will not be snared into negative symptoms that seems to be a norm in today's society.

    Counseling from The Islamic Perspective: A New Alternative

    This research discusses Counseling from the Islamic Perspective - A New Alternative. Islamic Counseling is one of the alternative forms of counseling we use to overcome personal problems that we face in our daily living especially in this modem, complicated and complex millennium. Islamic Counseling, in particular, encompasses not only all aspects of worldly life but also life in the hereafter. It also emphasizes the education and training aspects of each counselor. Education, capability, empowerment, experience as well as understanding of human nature are some of the prerequisites needed by counselors. Counseling practice from the Islamic perspective must be in accordance to the teachings of the AI-Qur'an and Sunnah. This research focuses on the substance of Islamic Counseling, including its practical aspects, techniques and applications that are effectively used by counselors. Besides that, it discusses the responsibilities of counselors from the Islamic point-of-view. The findings of this research are the results of studies derived mainly from two different sources, namely library research and through interviewing several Islamic counselors and their clients. In carrying out this research, the researcher has made some surprising discoveries and the logical deduction reached is that many of the practical approaches or methods which were used or which can be used by Islamic counselors are not in conflict with Shara' or Islamic principles and regulations. In conclusion, the research also validates that the role and responsibilities of the counselor are very important in carrying out counseling from the Islamic perspective.
