Abstract
Close Proximity is an offense which reported as the highest amount of Syariah Criminal cases in Perak. This academic project sought to know to what extend this problem arise and to clarify the flow of the case from the information first given to the Religious Enforcement Officer (REO) until it was brought to the court and finally the judgment which made by the judge. Interviews, observation and reviewing documents were the tools employed in data gathering purposes. The findings indicate that Close Proximity only can be solved through Islamic teachings participated and supported by all parties in the society.
