Legal Aid Bureau in Kedah: Its Function in Solving Problem of Muslim Women

Abstract

The research uses field study about the functions of Legal Aid Bureau. This research also uses descriptive method to explain the data gained from Legal Aid Bureau. The existence of Legal Aid Bureau is as the medium to fulfill the society's needs. The society needs a legal system that is reliable, affordable and able to fight for their rights especially to the Muslim Women. Indirectly legal have approaches materialized the governments policy to aid the poor and protect the group oppressed. It is hoped the public will gain benefit from the establishment of Legal Aid Bureau as a transparent institute of justice. This will reduce the burden of the underprivileged and strengthen principles of justice and equal rights in law.
