Abstract

This research discusses the role of Malaysian Islamic Welfare Society (PERKIM) towards converters in Kelantan. It includes the history of establishment of PERKIM in Kelantan and effect's. PERKIM plays an important role in conveying Islamic teaching especially to new converters. This role is essential and it yields a lot of positive effects particularly in developing shakhsiah Islamiah among new converters. This research also has distressed about activities and constitutions of PERKIM in helping new converters to close their selves to the real Islamic deeds. As well as analyzing the problems of PERKIM and new converters. In order to complete this task, the research has applied some methodologies such as Observation, some references from the library and personal interviews. As a conclusion, this research has found that Malaysia Islamic Welfare Society (PERKIM) play an important role in terms of converting Islamic teaching and welfare constitutions to new converters with the objective of strong though the real faith.
