ItemThe Acceptance of Nasyid as a Medium in Dakwah By Society: A Case Study at Kuala Lumpur(Kolej Universiti Islam Malaysia, 2004) Najibah Bt As'ariThe scenario of nasyid today has been improved with the introduction of the contemporary nasyid song suitable with current progress. The appearance of nasyid artists such as Raihan, Hijjaz and Rabbani have colour up the entertainment world in this country besides bringing up the Islamic message to society. This study recognizes that the acceptance of nasyid by society today related to the important elements contributed on the production of that songs. This study distributed the questionnaires to 50 respondents in Kuala Lumpur area with concern to the gender aspect. ages. the academic level and personally question about the listening to nasyid songs. The purposes of this study are to recognize the acceptance level of nasyid by society in Malaysia besides to identify the main elements of nasyid that meet the society's need today. Besides that, it is to recognize the effectiveness level of nasyid as a medium in dakwah to society. This study applies the collective data method to obtain the data through the gathering information materials from library and the questionnaires to respondent. The study result is, the acceptance level of nasyid by society in Malaysia today and the effectiveness as a medium in Islamic dakwah aspect are in moderate. and influenced by the important elements of nasyid. The findings formed that, the application of the main elements of nasyid have attracted the society to listen to nasyid songs today.

In this study, author also attempting to discover the real meaning of Islamic neighborhood. Author also studying the actual practice of neighborhood concept, and at what level the Islamic value is practiced in local community. Author used observation method in order to gain related information. Author also got the data through book reading, magazines, Internet and etc. The study showed the current practice of neighborhood ness is in parallel with Islam.

ItemAl-Hijrah wa-‘alaqatuha bi-istiratijiyah da’wah Rasul Allah salla Allah 'alayh wa-salam(Kolej Universiti Islam Malaysia, 2004) Rashidah Bt Muhammad NurThis research paper discussed on Hijrah ( migration) and its connection with the effective dakwah activities and performance conducted by the Rasulullah SAW. The study also includes the concept and terminology of the word " Hijrah" and the concept of Hijrah as stated in the Al-Quran and the Sunnah. The study looks into the factors that led to the migration of the Rasulullah from Makkah to Madinah. It also looks into the Dakwah strategies carried out during the Hijrah in the propagation of the new religion of Islam conducted by Rasulullah SAW. The Prophet managed to organize an Islamic society in Madinah. The prophet among others, built mosque, united the Muhajirin and the Amar tribes. He also managed to introduce the written charter that is known as the charter of Madinah. Finally, the study concludes that there are several positive facets of the Dakwah methods and approaches that were practiced by Rasulullah SAW, and among them, can be practiced by the Islamic Scholars and missionaries in Malaysia today.

ItemThe Approaches and Effectiveness of Internet as a Media of Da'wah: A Research on Islamic Websites(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Hazrina Abdul HamidThis research is assembled to foresee how far does the technology of Internet especially website and web applications are to be used as one of the media and channel (wasilah) to spread the Islamic Da'wah. With careful and continuous observation for 4 months, 3 different websites had been used as survey and random research using Islamic University College of Malaysia students who not specific in Islamic Studies as subjects. This research is for the awareness especially younger generations on how important Information Technology is and how powerful and useful Internet as the tool for spreading divine matters of Islamic Da'wah. The outcome of this research shows that using Internet as an education portal is still not wisely and widely used. Overall, the purpose of Internet is highly important in the Islamic Da'wah.

ItemChallenges of Dakwah in the Era of Globalization(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Che Hasniwati Bt Che AwangIn this academic project, writer has briefly brief the challenge of dakwah in the era of globalization. There are 5 chapters that were provided by the writer. In the start, the writer explains the real argument, and then the second chapter the writer explains about the Islamic dakwah nowadays. After that, in the third chapter, the writer explains on the dakwah movement in the era of globalization. Furthermore, challenge of dakwah in the era of globalization been explains in the fourth chapter and lastly on the last chapter the writer shows the effect and problems of dakwah to the Muslims society and the problem face by them. In the last part of this academic project there is conclusion, closing and also a reminder from the writer. Furthermore the writer discuss on the certain topics like writing method, information gathering, reading materials, and others. This discussion has been lead to advantages in dakwah to build a better society and a civilization society.

ItemDa'wah Aspect in Hamka's Literature(Kolej Universiti Islam Malaysia, 2004) Mohd Baliqinee Bin MusaThis particularly study is research effort to Hamka da'wah aspect in his literature. This type of study is using three Hamka's novel which was affected the reader as basic references. There is, "Dari Lembah Cita-Cita" (From the Valley of Ambition), "Di Bawah Lindungan Ka'bah" (Under the Shadow of Ka'bah), and "Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijk" (Sank of Van Der Wijk Ship). To gain a data and information related to this study, the writer was applying a several research methodology that is reading three stated novel, observation on relevant document and data encoding. The research scope is covered to da'wah aspect in Hamka's writing and his literature. As a result, it shown that Hamka was implemented da'wah elements in his literature in order to get closing with his audience.

They also think that they will be Malaysian if they convert to Islam. Therefore, to get true knowledge about this problem, research was done at Pos Pasik, Pos Simpor, Pos Blau, Pos Kuala Wok and Kg. ItemThe Effectiveness of Da'wah Activities In KAGAT: A Case Study at ILMI, Sirusa Camp, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Balqis Bt Abdul WahidIn the past, Malaysian Armed Forces always faced ethics, morale and management problems such as emblezzlement abuse of power, cheating and selfish men. These has led bring the army to ill mannerism and all aspects in morale problem. Therefore, this academic project will study about the effectiveness of da'wah activities at KAGAT. The study was implemented to identify and analyze the effectiveness of activities to armyforces. This study used descriptive method to interpret the data that was done foe the research. The result showed that the level of effectiveness is moderate even though the involvement of army was high in every activity organized. This is due to the existence of problems that decreased the effectiveness of the activities organized such as unsatisfactory equipment and fewer number of army forces. Thereby, suitable effort must be implemented to achieve its effectiveness. Its hope this study will help to upgrade this institution.

Tanah Runtoh, Kluang, Johor Darul Ta'zim(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Mohd Farhan Bin Abu AminThe approaches of da'wah it's one of the methods in da'wah propagation towards Muslims and Non-Muslim. However, the effectiveness of performance and propagation is important in the message of da'wah own. Thus, the study will try to explore using the effectiveness of da'wah methodology towards Non-Muslim especially to society of Orang Asli, which reception of the Islamic religion as practical to profess. Therefore, the writer tries to obtain the effective types of da'wah towards Native Society (Orang Asli) with measurement of their reactions. Then, the writer makes calculating the effectiveness of methods da'wah from past researchers and literature review to progress in other situation. The study in Perkampungan Orang Asli Tanah Runtoh, Kluang, Johor showing that is prove towards one of the da'wah programs. It's most important to newly of da'i to propagate the messages of da'wah towards them in future times.

ItemEffectiveness of Da'wah Programmes: A Case Study of Da'wah Programmes on TV3(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Mohamad Isa Bin AmatMass media is perceived as a most influential medium to convey da'wah message to the people. Media's attraction especially television has the superior power to develop and establishing mind setting, culture, and value system of community. Apparently, we don't want our generation involved with violence, wrongdoing which is totally against our religion. We want our next generation is developing as to potential leaders in the future, which enriched by positive attitude and good manner. Therefore, this study is essential to recognize the audience's perception towards da'wah programmes. At the same time it aims to identify on how much television gives the positive impact to better society. In our efforts to get the higher recognition in society, educating the youth generation is necessary for long-term benefits because the youth is our priceless assets of country. Regarding this awareness, the field research about da'wah programmes in electronic media had been constricted. This research had been done in district of Ampang Jaya which 89 respondents were interviewed to clear views concerning public's perception and the effectiveness level of da'wah programmes. Hopefully, this study would be able to expose and address resolution and sharing the ideas in order to increasing the community's understanding and awareness towards da'wah programmes.

ItemThe Interesting Da'wah Programmes for the Muallaf in Islamic Religion Council and the Malay Custom of Kelantan (MAIK)(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Azlinda Bt AzizThe title of academic project is "THE INTERESTING DA'WAH PROGRAMMES FOR THE MUALLAF IN MAJLIS AGAMA ISLAM DAN ADAT ISTIADAT MELAYU KELANTAN (MAIK)". This academic project discuss about da'wah programs from MAIK,s Da'wah Unit. Usually this programmed focused to Muallaf that involve many types of programs such as Fardhu Ain program, Islamic approachment, celebration for Islamic festival and so on. Beside that, it also studies about Muallaf opinion that involve about their problems and acceptance with this programs under the MAIK's dakwah unit. Library research, interviews and questionnaire relevant methods are the tools employed for data gathering purpose. Beside that, this research unit discuss about the background of MAIK, the role of MAIK and the position of Dakwah Unit in this organization. This research also discusses about the position of Muallaf in Islam and the methodology that has been used to invite and attract them about the strength of Islam religion. Beside that this research has listed all MAIK's programs which are involving the participation of Muallaf. It also discussed about the problems that has been faced by MAIK's dakwah unit regarding the Muallaf. In this research, the writer hopes that academic project should give the contribution to knowledge. Hopefully Islamic knowledge will spread and can give many benefits in our lives.

This study is also identifying da'wah element in I magazine like article on the greatness of Allah, greatness of Islam, current Muslim issue, guide to ethical manners, religious Question and Answer and so on. The data is based on primary source such us journal and 'I' itself, secondary data like books, interview and questionnaires. The study resulted magazine are effective da 'wah medium. The study also showed I magazine is also the medium for Muslim scholars and da'i to channel their views and knowledge through writing in magazine.

The writers choose the area as there is Orang Asli Muslim staying there. The writer focused on the method used to attract them to Islam as there are certain groups that also want to attract them such the Christian Missionaries. The methodology used in research are the fields research like the interview, observation, and information gathering via internet and library research where the references come from books, magazines, and journals. Though this research the writer conclude that some of them are still believe in animism and there are challenges from other religious movement like Christianity. The writer hope that this research will provide good knowledge to our community about the Orang Asli who still need the guidance in religious belief.

This research is focusing to the Da'I in Jabatan hal Ehwal Orang Asli (JHEOA)., In order to get full information and the real situation about the activities of the Da'wah, several types of research have been done such as, library, interviews and survey. It was found that giving help is the most popular method used by the Da'I in this department. The characteristic of the Da'I and media also were discussed in this research. The characteristics that should be in the Da'I are knowledgeable in religious and secular. This research also has proved that television is the most attractive and popular media in this decade in conveying the message of Islam. Therefore, every Da'I should provide himself with full preparation with knowledge and others. It is important to maximize the spreading of da'wah in this earth. It is also a necessity in the process of Da'wah to the group of multi ethnics of faith and belief in the situation of the society in Malaysia.

ItemThe Perspections of JHEOA Officers towards the Causes of Orang Asli Do Not Choose Islam as Their Religion(Kolej Universiti Islam Malaysia, 2004) Norizan Bt BakarThis research was done to study the perceptions of the JHEOA officers towards the causes of Orang Asli did not accept Islam as their religion. The research was made in order to find out the reasons why the Orang Asli did not accept Islam, to find out thoroughly the problem faced by the Islamic preacher in running their preaching activities towards Orang Asli community and also obtain recommendation and solution to solve the problems and attracting more Orang Asli to accept 1slam.This research is a descriptive research and structured interviews and questionnaires were used in obtaining the data. From the research, it was found that the main problem of why the Orang Asli did not accept Islam is because the lack of attention from the Malays society and also no followup action has been taken after the da'wah activities end. The problem faced by the Islamic preacher arising due to unwillingness of the Islamic preacher to live with the Orang Asli family and also they were not interested in educating and preaching the Orang Asli. The recommendation obtain from this research is that the Islamic preachers must do a follow-up action continuously, increase the number of Interested Islamic preacher, and the Islamic preacher must study and understand the Orang Asli life style.

This research title "The Propagation of Da'wah in Multimedia Era" is a research topic to search about the applied of multimedia technology in Da'wah propagation in this globalization era nowadays. This research project is discussed about six chapters that are interconnected with the topic. The objective of this research is to comprehend and searching about multimedia as a Method(wasi1ah)in Da'wah propagation. Primary data (questionnaire) and Secondary data (books, journal and newspaper) are the tools employed for data gathering purposes. First chapter are discussed about research background, objective, problem statement, scope, Da'wah definition and Multimedia definition. Second chapter are discussed about literature review detailed and in third chapter, the discussion is about research methodology. In fourth chapter, it discusses about the Findings. While, for fifth chapter is analysis data and it discussion detailed and lastly, in sixth chapter, its discussion is about the conclusion and recommendation about this topic research.

ItemThe Role of Electronic Media in Spreading Islamic Da'wah: a Case Study at Kuala Lumpur(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Aminah Bt YusofThe electronic media borderless world has a big influence towards people in spreading Islamic da'wah. The role of electronic media is strengthening the development of da'wah. Based on the above scenario, the study is constructed to know the society perception towards the electronic media as da'wah medium. Beside that, this study also establishes to identify the role and the effectiveness of electronic media in spreading Islamic da'wah. Surveys, questionnaire, and reviewing relevant documents are the tools employed for data gathering purpose. This research includes 40 respondents from Kuala Lumpur. The findings indicate that the electronic media play an important role in conveying Islamic da'wah and the usage of electronic media in Islamic da'wah is very effective. And finally, the study concludes that the use of media in spreading da'wah is well received by the society. So, the electronic media should increase and adds the Islamic programmers for the people in order to produce Muslim's quality.

ItemThe Role of Islamic Entertainment in Da'wah(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Faiezah AbbasThis academic writing touches on the Role of Islamic entertainment in Da'wah. In this research, the writer discussed mainly on the important subject of it. It is divided to 5 chapters ; talked on the introduction of topic as a whole, second chapter pictured about the concept of Islamic entertainment. On the third chapter described the concept of da'wah. In the forth chapter displays about the cardinal topic that is the role of Islamic entertainment in da'wah and finally the last chapter is on the conclusion and the writer's evaluation on the research. Briefly, the objective of da'wah is to advocate the Din , to spread it out to human being and to prosper the sanctity of Islam. Thus, da'wah organization should actually emerge in today's current issue and not merely as a marginalized group. Therefore, this research portrayed the ability of Islamic entertainment, which is assumed as a new alternative to compete with the non-Islamic entertainment. In this case, the mass media and also the electronic media are highly required to assist the expand of the message of Islam. Hopefully, with this method, Aqidah and human value will always be protected.

ItemThe Role of Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Kelantan (MAIK) in Da'wah Activities: With Reference to the Orang Asli and Siamese Communities In The State(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Asnurol Azeny Bt Aziz'The purpose of this research is to study about the role of MAIK in da'wah activities to Orang Asli and Siamese community in Kelantan. This research also was discusses about the history and functions of MAIK as an Islamic Institution that is responsible to the Islamic affairs in Kelantan. Besides that, the writer discuss about the methodology and strategies to spread the da'wah and Islamic teachings to both communities. This research also discusses about activities and programs that are handled by MAIK to Orang Asli and Siamese communities. From this research, the writer also studies about the effectiveness of da'wah activities to both of these communities. In this research, some methodologies are used namely observations, interviews and library references. The result of this research showed he increasing numbers of Orang Asli and Siamese who converts to Islam through these da'wah activities. It also shows the importance of sacrifice. patience and cooperation from Muslims to spread da'wah and Islamic teachings in this parallel with the globalization world.

ItemWomen's Contribution Towards Islamic Da'wah at Kuala Lumpur(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2004) Mimi Hasliza Bt AriffinThis Academic Project discussed about the women's Towards Da'wah in Kuala Lumpur. The purpose of this research is to know about women's contribution in the Islamic da'wah. Among the activities are, religious talks, seminars, television forum, Islamic counseling and running the fardhu Ain classes for the family, local economic, society and religion. Islamic parenting courses are also given priority in the da'wah activities. This proves that Islamic women movements are not sidelined in the overall Islamic da'wah movements. To collect and gather the relevant data and information, the researcher uses the methodologies of literature review, interviews, field study and website search of the women da'wah group in Kuala Lumpur. The outcomes research of the research show that women are involved in the Islamic Da'wah movement and the role of women to fulfill the deeded in together effort to increase the Kalimah Allah.
