Abstract

This research aims to find out the views of female students from Islamic University College of Malaysia about Musafir woman to learning knowledge without her mahram. Knowledge is important whether for man or woman. This research focused on KUIM's female students. In the first chapter, the writer explains the definition of the topic. Then, in the second chapter, the writer defines the types of musafir in Islam, studies area needed, evidences and views from ulama regarding the issue. Besides, the writer also explains about the woman rights to learn, the conditions and the problems throughout the period of learning. In the third chapter, the writer discus the sincere of them to learn and found that they were really willing to learn. Also, the writer found that, they understood the situation of learning in KUIM. This research also found that female students are not bringing together their mahram to learn because the situation is not allowed them to do so because of 'maslahah'. This research also found that female student doesn't have any problem gain her knowledge in KUIM. They do to ensure that their 'aurat' are well covered. They are learning seeking for blessing of Allah.
