Abstract
The study sought to understand and comprehend the total number of Muslim converts in Federal Territories from 1995 - 2002 based on gender, age, educational background, previous religion and race. Besides, to know how far Muslim converts attack attention and influencing Muslim community to take about the important of dakwah in extend Islam in this country, refer to process of conversion to Islam, the sectors related to Muslim converts and to recognize apostate cases among Muslim converts and it reason. The study used a few methods such as descriptive, library research, documentary research and data collection from Federal Territories of Islamic Department. The findings indicated that the total number of Muslim converts in Federal Territories for the duration of 8 years is inconsistent and it average is little increase. It is influenced by dakwah organizations, which more expand in this country and also factor by their own self. Finally, the study concludes with a the decreasing of total number Muslim converts in specific tears came from apostate cases among Muslim converts and Muslim attitude that difficult to accept Muslim converts.
