موقف القرآن و السنة من السحر و ممارستها في المجتمع

Abstract

One of the notable practice in the Muslim society in Malaysia is the beliefs in " Tahyul", "Khurafat"and "Sihr"practices, which are contrary to the Islamic faith. This academic research deals with the subject of the practice of Sihr in the Muslim society in Malaysia, as perceived by the Al-Quran and As-Sunnah .In this study,the concept of "Sihr" is given the definition . The researcher also proves the existence of this practice. The argument is based on the history of the forbidden practice during the times of Rasulullah SAW and Prophet Musa a.s. The study also deals with the stories about sihr practices and the different types of Sihr. The study also provides recommendations on how the society can avoid practicing this forbidden practice.
