Abstract

Nowadays there are Muslims who are still ignorant on various aspects of the religion. This study is done on shaking hands between genders namely males and females. If we look particularly in the socialization practices, such festivals, shaking hands between males and females are seems like nothing. So that, this study aims at looking into the religious inhibition of this particular practice based on dalil from Al-Qur'an, Sunnah and opinion of Ulama'. Besides that, this study sought to understand the issue of shaking hands between different genders among Muslims. Library research and internet serving were the methods employed for data and information gathering purposes. The findings of this research indicate the actual laws of shaking hands between the different genders besides understand well about that real hukm.
