Abstract

This academic project will look into the equality between man and woman in politic area. The study sought to understand and comprehend the equality of human rights between man and woman involving in politic from Islamic perspective generally and specifically. Subsequently, the implementation of equality between them will be viewed. In order to acquire the information and data, some techniques had been used that is library research with search the information in the old and modem Arabic books, the Internet and reviewing relevant documents. The finding indicate that Islam has granted the certain right to woman to involved in the politic in order to serve a country as well as man. According to our scenario especially for the woman, it is undoubted that Islam recognized the equality between man and woman to involve in politic. For instance woman has a right to vote as same as man and possess an important position in the government. Besides that woman has allowed being a candidate in an election. Therefore, the woman status in Islam is privileged and the right to give a contribution to nation that is stated in syariat Islam.
